Endurance Gaiters

I started with the trail gaiters that came with my horse’s scoot boots, and they worked pretty well for trail rides. However, I found that when riding in the arena my horse was getting sores over to the side underneath the brass stud that holds the pastern strap.

I tried the endurance gaiters. The stopped the rubbing/sores, since they cover the entire heel area. The do make the boots harder to get on and off, but that is a fair trade for not having any rubs/sores.

They are doing well. No issues and seem to be a good fit. Like them so much I ordered fromt boots

The endurance gaiters are fabulous. They are easy to attach to the boot and make putting the boots on and taking them off much easier. They don’t totally prevent a bit of rubbing but it is not ever serious. The latest gaiters I received have a much better closing mechanism which definitely protects the pattern in front. The material around the hoof bulb however doesn’t seem to cover quite as much but I’m not sure that is an issue. They don’t prevent twisting so still trying to find that solution.
